Weight gain after the birth of your baby is a common in nearly all the ladies. Actually, after your delivery if you might notice swelling on your face, hands and ankles.

These might be due to the the pregnancy weight gain during the pregnancy. During the labor period, several pounds of fluid retention replaces the amniotic fluid, placenta of your body.

In order to lose lose the excess weight which you had gained during your pregnancy period there are few tips which can be followed.

Here are few simple tips which can be followed to get rid of your excessive fat. These are:

  • Avoid eating large meals in one go. Take small meals at frequent intervals. It would be better if you will keep few healthy snacks handy. Foods items like raisins, nuts, pop corns, wheat crackers will help in satisfying your hunger and will also help in reducing your fat. Avoid junk food as much as possible.
  • If you like non veg better go for lean meat. This comprises of boneless chicken, and pieces of meat cut in thin slices. These kind of pieces will not carry fat and will be healthy too.
  • Excess of water will also help in getting rid of excess of fat. So it advisable to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. This helps in through out the fat in liquid form through urine and perspiration.
  • In take of whole grain food is advisable. Such foods carries less calories and are beneficial for health.
  • Apart from eating healthy diet regular work out is also very important. Regular exercise will help you getting rid of your excess fat very easily.
  • Breastfeeding is also a good means of losing your fat. It is because losing fat burns nearly 1500 calories in your body. So, the longer you feed your baby with your breast, the more amount of fat you will lose.
