The causes of brown discharge during the pregnancy includes:

• The brown spot is an indication of presence of dry and old blood present in the cervix . During the inter coarse and because of some irritation tear is caused in the cervix. This tearing results in the flow of the brow discharge while you urinate or you wipe your cervix. It has been found this discharge of brown color is usually harmless.

• There are various others reasons also for this discharge to occur in the early or late pregnancies. For instance if you notice it in the early trimester of your pregnancy it might be due a miscarriage or it also can be an indication of the presence of some virus in your cervix. These secretion might be accompanied by the itching, redness or burning in your genitals along with the abdominal pain.
• In some cases, the discharge of brown color in the late or early pregnancy can be seen as a disposal of old dry blood which might have collected due to the implantation of the baby in the uterus.
