Uterine fibroids are found in the women’s uterus. These are noncancerous structures which are found in the fertile stages of the women. These are also known as leiomyomas, fibromyomasor only myomas. The treatment of fibroids depends on their size and their placement. Usually small fibroids can be treated with the help of few medicines which can shrink the fibroids permanently. The removal of fibroid becomes difficult after menopausal condition takes place as the levels of estrogen falls rapidly. So, surgical procedure is the only left to treat such condition.
