Morning Sickness Cures

Morning sickness is found in 30 – 50% of pregnant women. The condition of morning sickness is not only confined to the morning, but it can occur throughout the whole day.

There are a few cures, which can be followed, to lessen the symptoms of morning sickness. For example, the intake of vitamins can help in removing morning sickness. It is necessary to have at least 50 grams of vitamin B6 daily. Oral doses may help solve the problem.

Cures Of Morning Sickness:

Some other cures for morning sickness are the following:

  • Get a good amount of sleep at night.
  • Try taking small naps during the day as tiredness can provoke morning sickness.
  • Try to avoid warm places as heat can generate the nausea sense.
  • While cooking food, make sure that the windows of your kitchen are open.
  • Avoid fried and greasy foods as they produce heartburn and nausea.
  • Intake of protein snacks is important every two hours.
  • Make sure you never totally have an empty stomach. Try to have small meals every hour or so.
  • Avoid caffeinated drinks and include milk in their place.
  • Try drinking a lot of fluids, mostly water.
  • Make sure you do not skip a meal.
  • You can have 1 tablespoon of apple-cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey in a glass of cold water just before going to bed as a nausea remedy.
  • Drink ginger tea. It can be prepared very easily by boiling ginger root in water. Once it gets boiled, you can drain the water and add honey to sweeten it.
  • Do gentle and regular exercise.
  • Go out for walks so that you can have plenty of fresh air.
  • Close your eyes and try to rest peacefully every few hours.
