Reprogenetics is a modern day technique which involves the diagnosis of genetics, eugenics and genetic enhancement. There are also certain pharmacogenetic susceptibilities.

Pharmacogenetics have a greater impact in public health initiatives which are usually unpinned by some constraints of resource allocation. Thus reprogenertics and pharmacogenetics ensure protection and all safe guards the interests of those who require them urgently.

Reprogenetics – Definition:

Reprogenetics is the process in which the changes in the genetic levels are made to bring about the desired result. Most of them have yet become successful but they are not all difficult to be achieved if a little effort is put on them the desired result can be easily achieved. This technology is based on the theory that the different expressions of DNA can fertilize a variety of embryos in a mother and they also have the capability to fertilize the reinserted embryos.

So according to this theory, if the parent wants a certain genetic character to be specifically present in their off spring, the DNA of the same can be recognized and reinserted in the embryo which is then fertilized and grows into a new offspring.

Criticism Of Reprogenetics:

This theory is greatly criticized by the scientists. The scientists are of the view that in case a parent suffering from some ailment wishes that the syndrome does not get transferred to his/her children then the hope is that through reprogenetics can manage it but it not always successful. For example there is a constant risk that a syndrome called Down syndrome may occur. The scientists are of the view that genetic diseases can never be eliminated so this technique can never be entirely successful.
